So, since Habib's death, I got two rabbits: Hip and Hop. Well, long story short, Hip died. Hop became friends with a rat named Ratatouille and then this past summer I got Hop a new buddy. Yes, the cutesy naming scheme continued and the baby's name is Scotch. Don't have pictures, but maybe I will soon.

I met a guy. We're kinda casually dating, but it's nothing serious. My friends call him Aladdin because he's indian. I take exception to that. They also call this guy that was very into me Gerber Baby, so you get the idea.

Oh, in more exciting news, I got a 76-key digital piano/electronic keyboard. It's amazing. I'm no grand pianist, but I'm getting back into it seriously.

I'm going to watch the Presidential Candidate Debate tonight and see who can talk, but I'm already just a little biased.

I have nothing interesting to say, but I might just start posting some tidbits from my life here.

Since my friend brought it up, does anyone think that the world is going to end in 2012 like the Mayans and several other groups believe?

His name is Habib, which means 'beloved' and 'darling' in Arabic.

Summer School and All

So summer at St. Mary's is pretty good. I'm currently taking Drugs, Brain and Behavior, a psych class. My teacher's really cool and easy to understand. Thing is she gives a lot of work, in a condensed fashion, so we'll kinda have 3 things due on the same day. Part of it is because it's only a 3 week summer class, but part of it is the organization. I'm liking it and I think it'll all be good. Next session I'm taking Contemporary Bioscience with a new teacher named Ramcharita. I heard from my advisor that he's very good, but I'll have to see for myself.

My beloved Food Lurch (a.k.a. 'Drea) is my fabulous room mate, who has tolerated me for 2 whole weeks now. I'm very glad that she is understanding of my temporary bunny obsession and my overall boring self. We share clothes and get along great. I'm so glad that we have bonded (and can continue to bond) because we kind of lost touch after orientation freshman year. I foresee greatness.

What else, oh, our co-worker, John, is a nerd. And he broke the printer today. He knows it too. And everyone thinks I'm rich, just because my mom might be. I keep telling them that it doesn't work that way. Whatever money I get from her is a gift, not a privilege. Oh well.

I'm thinking I'm being influenced by the entertaining nerd-dom that I live in, so I might play some games.

Andrea and I are talking about boys. Boys are confusing, but yeah. She's trying to figure out if this hot guy likes her and I don't know, but I keep telling her to ask. She's trying to remain the traditional maiden in waiting, but I'm thinking that if this doesn't progress soon enough that she'll ask him about it.

I think if it were possible I'd switch lives with a guy for one day just to get a better perspective on things, but just one day, because I know I'd prefer my body over a guy's.

Anyway, who wants to donate to my bank account and give me money?

The only other thing is that I can't believe I have to wait a whole other week until I get my bunny! I believe I will go stark raving mad if I have to wait any longer. I do know so far that it's grey and it's a boy and it's a little over 2 months old.

I'm feeling good about things at the moment. Also, I guess it helps that I just received my new Deftones CD. Glee. Anyway... Things are kinda working out the way I like and if I don't manage to screw everything up again, then they'll stay the way I like them.

Oh and I need a name for my new hard drive. It's a 250 GB My Book external hard drive, but I can't go around calling it that. Everything needs a nickname according to my college folk, so this needs one too. Suggestions anyone?

Other than that, I'm packing and cleaning up. Of course sneaking some game time in between. My mom is going out on a date tomorrow, which she really needed to do a year ago, but better late than never. I've lost 30 lbs to date, which has me at a very good size. My hair looks splendid. I just feel good.

I wish everyone could feel at least as good as I do, right now. I know life can be tough sometimes, but there are always better days ahead. Oh and my good friend tagged my rack on Facebook... Imagine that.

I guess you could say I'm in a bit of a funk.

Before I felt something similar to disappointment, then I felt frustration and now it's settled into uncertainty. Aside from that I'm unhappy about multiple things. Maybe I'll rant about one.

Why can't men control their urges like women can? It's aggravating me at the moment. I'd like someone to just see me for a person with a brain. A brain and personality that you might enjoy. Screw my measurements. If all you want out of me is sex, then don't bother approaching me. I can understand attraction and I can appreciate the gawking, but I don't feel appreciated when you're leering at me or obviously only thinking about getting in my pants. If you can't see me as more than a giant pussy, then it's your loss, but don't think I'll stick around just to humor you. Unfortunately sometimes hearts are easy to break that way.

Don't call me 'sexy thang' or any other such name, unless you're interested in finding out more about what makes me sexy. Just don't be so fucking superficial.

So I have a job now. I'm a Barnes & Noble bookseller. It's good so far, even though I'm just in the training stages. Yeah, and I found my Mom's special edition copy of The DaVinci Code. I might read it eventually, especially since it has pretty pictures. :3

What else? Oh, Grandma, Mommy and I went out to dinner last night. First time in about a year, probably. I guess I didn't realize how seperate we really are. First thing was hearing Bry-Bry tell his Mom he loved her. Unfortunately, I never say that, unless I'm trying to be cheeky, or silly. Or I'm leaving for a trip. I guess part of that is because more than half the time we're yelling at each other. Oh well...

I just urge you guys to treat your family nicely, as often as possible. I'm sure you all do that though. Just don't be like me. I need to talk to them more.

Other than that... I got a lot of money for dogsitting. I'm on an Aaron Neville and Michael Jackson classics streak.

Oh and apparently Michael's back in the studio. I don't know what he'll create but I'm eager to find out if he still has it. Oh and interestingly, on iTunes Michael Jackson's biography entry censors the word "molestation." I guess they have to since the case was closed and Michael wasn't charged. But it's interesting.

Ugh. My back hurts and I need suggestions for a Halloween costume. One of my Mom's colleagues suggested Flavor Flav, but I'm not sure. I also have a cow costume, and it would be fun having a cow walking around Barnes & Noble, since I have to work after going trick-or-treating with my cousins.

1. I abhor the 'Pull-Ups' jingle. It grates on my nerves and has ever since I was a kid. Just thinking about it makes me shiver.

2. I eat my food methodically. I never mix my foods together, but mostly it's that I eat things in a predetermined order. Foods are eaten in order of preference with the least enjoyed foods being eaten first, completely, before moving on to the next. In other words I always save the best for last.

3. I use my eyes to communicate to avoid having to use words. If I don't have to talk then it's all the better. It's my nature but also I prefer to listen and observe. Also my eyes are quite expressive, or so I've heard, so it's fun using them.

4. I can never wear mismatched socks. If I have the choice between mismatched socks and no socks, it's always no socks.

5. I pinch my nose when I sneeze.

6. I don't know if I can think of another weird thing or habit of mine, at least not off the top of my head... Whoever wants to comment can add something to fill in this ..... space.

{Edit: I thought of something that may not be too weird, but hearing people chew loudly, drives me insane. So insane that if it were possible and perhaps not frowned upon, I would kill those people just to stop the sound of them chewing. This is a recap of the past few days.

Sept. 6th - Was a boring day.

Sept. 7th - My birthday sucked. I spent the morning crying. I went to my first class at 1. It was alright. I got lectured on the way home. I ate Chinese food, had a brownie and went to bed. I missed my friends a lot too. I'd say that the highlight of my day was getting a shirt and suede purse from my stepmother. The shirt is great. It says, 'Just dill with it.' and has a pickle with the word 'Heinz' on it at the bottom. It amused me and had men staring at my chest for more than one reason.

Sept. 8th - I went around begging teachers to let me into their classes. (Late registration because of a bunch of things.) [So far I've gotten one, which is good.] I went on Facebook for the first time in a long while, responded to messages, then Mom came home. I spent the evening crying.

Sept. 9th - Today, I had neuro-psychological testing done. It was at both my psychiatrist's and my mom's requests. (Mostly Mom though.) It was interesting. The exercise I hated was the one where you had to repeat long sentences after hearing them on the tape recorder. My favorite might have been the one where the doctor/tester shows you a sheet full of pictures and tells you to ask yes or no questions to figure out what picture they're thinking of.

Some of the exercises made me realize how slow a thinker I am. The only reassurance that I got was that Dr. Law, my tester, said that taking a long time works well for me because it allows me to get a significantly larger number of answers correct, while it doesn't help most people like that. She also let me know that I wasn't actually stupid, which was a relief. I can't say I exactly thought of myself as stupid, but with all the comments I've been getting one might think different. Anyway, I have the second round of testing on Monday. From 9 AM to 3 PM. Oh, joy.

Other than that, I got a blazer and a nice shirt from my grandparents. Back to the testing though. I really hope that it ends up helping...

Wow, I haven't updated in forever. Then again, I don't know when I ever have much to say. I really wish I had a working cellphone right about now though. I should be getting funds to buy a new one soon, but being without one really sucks.

Do any of you (that actually read this) think that there are signs given by those higher beings or the big Kahuna in the sky? I'm curious because I saw a lot of pairs today. More pairs than I usually see.

I saw a pair of baby bunnies by the bushes at MC.
I saw a pair of clouds that looked like teddy bear heads, which may just be me.
I saw a pair of doves sitting on my deck bannister.
I saw a pair of broken pencils on the sidewalk.
I saw a pair of midgets dressed in similar clothing at the metro.
I saw a pair of squash in a woman's bicycle basket.
and I saw a pair of guinea pigs at Petco that had mohawks.

Does seeing all of these pairs actually mean something or am I just making things up?

Life sucks just a little bit at the moment. I have nothing more to say about that at this time.

Oh, but in other news. Remember the 'Swimmer boy' that called into our radio show? Well, he called again and it turns out our sleuthing paid off. We actually found his identity, through the magic of Facebook and our inductive reasoning skills.

I got a bunny in a sweater for Easter, along with a set of wire puzzles and a necktie thing (like those cowboys wear) that used to be my father's. That brightened my day a little, but still.

Going to the gym later. Struggling to get that hot bod that I want. Bah.

That's about it. I have a crapload of homework to do and my back hurts again. I seriously need a massage.

Ok, so I should have written about this about two weeks ago, but I've been very busy.

Two weeks ago, my room mate and I had a rave party. We hosted it in our dorm's study room and got the strobe light (first one broke), got the glow-in-the-dark stars, the black lights and the glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces. I made two techno CDs, I dressed in black, with my bright pink, feathered rave earrings and jewelry. Everyone loved it. After dancing, we took a break, had refreshments and then went back down to the study room to play games. We played Taboo, I was on the Guy's team against the rest of the Girls and the guy's suck at Taboo. Guys, if you're reading this, you suck at Taboo.

We were too loud so our RA got pissed.
There was a lot of hip thrusting going on around me. I seemed to constantly be in an Oreo or some other human type sandwich, involuntarily. Men are a bit too horny for me sometimes.
Everyone was getting whipped with stray glow stick bracelets.
Since everyone is still talking about the party, we will eventually have another. Another, of a different theme. There was booze somewhere in the vicinity, but our RA only found one random empty bottle.
C'mon, we're not that much of heathens.

Someone was saying something about X though. Sorry people I don't do drugs. My only vice, right now, is drinking.

I also climbed the rock wall a few times since I've been at the gym. Talked to a few people I haven't talked to in a while.

Oh, I bought God of War (PS2). Haven't played it yet though. Applied for jobs at the Apple Store and PETCO so we'll see who wants me. Have some Cowboy Bebop music and some Hellsing music too. Found out there's a Gamestop near here and am dying to try to keep myself away.

Had a mystery caller to our radio show on Monday... A swimmer, who lives in Caroline, who does not have naturally blond hair, who has a lot of classes in Kent, who also has a 30-pack (as opposed to the 6 or 8-pack) and apparently has a large penis. Don't ask me about all of that, but that's what was revealed. I really wish you people who are a few more miles away could listen to it but it's only available on Campus.

Hmm, need to draw something. Anyone have any ideas on what I should draw?

I'm freakin' busy.
Really.

I really want to have some good fun. Mardi Greens sucked. I got all dolled up too. Oh well. I'm going to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force later. I'm really excited about it. Oh another thing, I went to the school production of Hair and it was awesome. I'm watching the Oscars, but there's a girl in our room trying to commandeer our television and control everything. I can only take her in small doses and right now I'm getting a little bit too much of her.

As for interesting stuff, there was an article in the New York Times, about the claim that people need less sleep as they get older. They say sleep will be more likely to be disturbed as you get older, due to chronic illness or pain. Bottom line: Old people don't need more sleep. It just seems that way.

Oh and I need anime. Whoever wants to send me some can. Thanks. :D

What else? Oh, well, I put the Absolut Hunk on my wall at my room mate's insistence. I need more posters too. I suppose I'll find some on my own. Additionally, I've been working on change and I'm actually getting somewhere. I'm feeling a little more confident and all. I also feel like I have more direction in my life. I have more of a plan of what I'm going to do. Yay for me!

I don't know what it is about me, but I'm still feeling lonely. Not really as in relationship-wise, although that would be nice too... Primarily I'm lonely as in I haven't seen my friends or talked to them lately. I just feel like I need more human contact. I don't really know how to explain it, but... yeah. Talk to me people!
